Our Concern "M/s. Chennai Hydraulic and Engineering Co." has its registered office and factory at No. 6, PKM Road, Athipet, Ambattur, Chennai - 600 058 was established in the year 2008.
The company has made its mark and presence felt in the market within a short tenure since its inception in year 2008, thanks to the quality of its products and services extended.
It is a registered MSME Industrial Unit.
B. PROMOTER AND MANAGEMENT
The promoters of the concern are partners Mr. S.K. Saravanan and Mr. Arun.
Supported by an efficient team of qualified engineers to facilitate the needs of the customer's individual needs.
C. OBJECTIVES AND GOALS
The concern is engaged in:
1) Manufacturing of Industrial Aluminium Ladders and all general engineering works. It has its own registered trademark ® and the ladders manufactured and sold endorse this brand.
2) Fabrication of all types of Base metals incl. Aluminium and Steel.
The company has set its sight on being one of the leading manufacturers of ladders and fabricators of all base metals.
With all favourable infrastructural facilities coupled with the sound technical and astute managerial experience of the persons at managerial level, the unit in its pursuit to achieve its object is only but an inevitable eventuality.
D. CURRENT SCENARIO OF OUR INDUSTRIES
FABRICATION — STEEL AND ALUMINIUM:
The Fabrication division of our concern has provided supply and support for various customers towards phenomenal growth in the field of automation, infrastructure, and other industrial sectors over the years.
The verity of the fact that we are registered sub vendors to other leading entities like MRF Tyres for supply of various types of cassettes and different types of ASRS pallets augurs well for business.
SHEET METAL FABRICATION:
The Sheet metal Fabrication potential of our concern has drastically increased over the years by providing custom-made design solutions in the field of Pharma, Automobile, Electrical & Electronics, Infrastructure, and other industrial sectors.
PRODUCT - LADDERS:
It is an undeniable fact that we are one of the leading industrial aluminium and hydraulic ladders manufacturing units in Tamil Nadu and Southern Region.
The scope for extending our products extensively throughout India is huge.
E. AREA OF FABRICATION:
Unit — I
This Fabrication division has an area of about 4800 sq.ft with built shed which has enough space for manoeuvrability of material and manpower.
Unit — II
This new second unit at Ayanambakkam which is less than two kilometres from the present area has started operating with a shed of about 7000 sq.ft working area.
F. OUTPUT (ACTUAL AND PROPOSED)
The concern is giving an output of approximately 300MT per annum with material and is planning to give an output of about 50-100MT per month in the future.
The above proposed output is only indicative and can be adjusted according to the customer and the prevailing conditions thereon.
G. ADVANTAGES EMBEDDED IN THE PRESENT SETUP:
1. LOCATION:
Both our Units are situated in the Industrial Hub of Ambattur Industrial Estate which is hoarded with all the facilities and various types of contractors and sub-contractors which enable the smooth functioning of business.
2. POWER, WATER, LABOUR:
Our factory is equipped with 40HP 36KVA power supplies which are sufficient enough for the in-house works undertake.
The organization has 22 skilled workers and 16 unskilled workers and is also equipped with required machinery and engineering tools for effective production.
Water, sanitary conditions and abundant labour force (on contract) only further helps the cause of trouble-free and conducive functioning of business.
3. LICENSES:
The entity is not only a registered dealer under the GST Act but also a registered MSME (Micro Small Medium Enterprise) unit.
It is also to be noted that it sells the ladders and all allied products under the Registered Trademark®
4. INFRASTRUCTURE:
The factory has reasonably good approach roads which only should get better owing to the recent construction of fly-over in our estate.
5. RECOGNISED BRAND VALUE AND VENDOR ENDORSEMENT:
We have been recognized as the leading manufacturer and fabricators of all base metals including Aluminium and its allied products in the state only evidenced through the fact that credible and important orders have been received from various Govt. Entities like Corporation of Chennai, Metro Water and Southern Railway.
We are also registered vendors for Reliance group.
6. INTERNAL MARKET & EXPORT POTENTIAL:
Our quality output and efficient expertise have helped us not only to penetrate into the elusive vendor list of Reliance group and to extend our arms with other big corporate and Government entities but also to venture beyond the boundaries of India as we have only recently executed a penultimate sale against an order for goods which was in the course of export to Kuwait and Dubai.
We have exported to Sri Lanka and Bhutan.
We are looking forward to clinch direct orders from South-East Asia and Europe to plant or foot as exporters in the nearest future.
